We'll take you to unknown destinations! Okay, okay, that is so corny, but to make up for it, here is more sneak preview for fly. (Is that grammatically correct?) Skaapie's been busy again, nothing sheepish about her. (Oh here we go again!)

The children and I took a trip out to Velddrif to get these beautiful carved birds by Daan Samuels. Daan is inspired by the local birds of the vlei and coast, which are numerous. We saw pelicans, egrets, flamingos, herons, blue crane and even a king fisher. Photo included - just to prove we were there! The bird photos were taken by 7yr old Oliver - I just had to keep him occupied for a morning in the shop!
