When my daughter was 4 I stayed up late making her a hobby horse for Christmas- a last minute inpiration. As I was making it I was thinking of the effort I was putting in to it and would she really play with it. For the next 5 years that hobby horse was a real horse. The garden was turned into an arena with jumps time and again, but most wonderful was the way she really was on a horse. We still have the hobby horse (I think it was a she) but now it is very tired looking and forlorn but those late hours at my sewing machine were worth every second!
Hobby horses as Blossom, reduced by 40%. Were R400, now R240
